Shahnaz Sheikh – Celebrating a Hockey Legend

We honor Shahnaz Sheikh, one of the most powerful former Pakistani hockey players, and a true icon of the sport. Born on March 21, 1949, in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, Shahnaz made an indelible mark on the field with his exceptional all-round skills.

During the 70s, he was a core player of the Pakistani team, leading them to dominate international hockey. His impressive achievements include:

Shahnaz also contributed off the field, coaching the Pakistan national team in 2015 and guiding the Pakistan Junior team to victory as Junior Asia Cup champions.
