Pakistan Wins Central Asian Volleyball Championship! 🏐 ISLAMABAD
Pakistan has triumphed in the Central Asian Volleyball Championship, defeating Turkmenistan 3-1 in an exciting final match held at the Liaquat Gymnasium on Friday. The green shirts secured victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 20-25, and 25-14.
This win marks Pakistan’s fifth consecutive victory in the tournament, maintaining an unbeaten record throughout.
In the semifinals, Pakistan dominated Kyrgyzstan with a 3-0 set victory, winning 25-18, 27-25, and 27-25, to secure their spot in the final.
The event was hosted by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, with Federal Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal presenting awards to the players. Diplomats from various countries were also in attendance to witness the thrilling final.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his congratulations to the team, praising their exceptional performance and teamwork. “Superb performance! Pakistan wins the Central Asia Volleyball Championship. Talent and teamwork at its best,” he remarked on his X handle.
