The PUBG Mobile K2Gamer Pakistan Universities Showdown 2023-24 has reached a pivotal moment as the Semi-Finals conclude and the Grand Finale commences, marking a significant milestone in the country’s gaming landscape. Organized jointly by Gamer Pakistan Inc. and K2 Gamer Pakistan, the tournament has been a testament to the burgeoning enthusiasm and skill within Pakistan’s university gaming community.

Tournament Structure and Journey:

The journey of this thrilling competition began on December 21st with the commencement of registrations, signalling the start of an exciting adventure for gamers across the nation. On December 26th, the Qualifiers round started. The tournament commenced with over 600 teams registering for both LAN and online events, reflecting the burgeoning enthusiasm and talent within Pakistan’s university gaming community. Teams were divided into four zones – East, West, North, and South – with a unique structure comprising four conferences. From a rigorous qualification process starting from Interzone qualifiers to group stage rounds, where teams qualified for Quarter-finals, 64 Teams narrowed down to 32 played in Semi-Finals, and now the top 17 Teams will compete in the Grand Finale. The competition has been fierce and exhilarating, showcasing the remarkable gaming prowess of Pakistani university students.

Semi-Finals Recap:

The Semi-finals saw the top 32 teams from the quarter-finals battle it out over three intense days. Each day witnessed six matches, with the top 16 teams ultimately securing their places in the Grand Finale. Notably, the competition was fierce, with every team showcasing exceptional skills and strategies.

The Grand Finale lineup includes 16 qualified teams along with a specially invited team – 141 Esports, sponsored by the AS Group of Companies. These teams represent various universities across Pakistan and have demonstrated remarkable talent throughout the tournament.

The Grand Finale will span over three days, commencing with an online event on March 4th, 2024, featuring six matches. Subsequently, on March 7th and 8th, an offline LAN event will take place at , Lahore city. Each of these days will host three matches, totaling 12 matches for the Grand Finale. The results of these matches will determine the ultimate champion of the tournament.

Prize Pool:

In addition to the prestige of winning, the Grand Finale winner will also be awarded a staggering cash prize from the PKR 1 million prize pool allocated for this stage of the tournament.
