An extraordinary meeting was held between the office bearers of Elite Sports Pakistan and the directorate of sports at the University of Karachi to deliberate upon the university sports commercialization project of Elite Sports Pakistan (ESP).
The CEO of Elite Sports Pakistan Muhammad Jamal Qureshi and Muhammad Adeel Siddiqui acting director of sports along with Muhammad Akber assistant director of sports and Wasif Nisar lecturer of the department of physical education at the University of Karachi and Syed Athar Abbas director of sports of DHA College and Muhammad Hamid Raza coordinator ESP attended the meeting addition to other representatives of the respective organizations.
M. Jamal Qureshi briefed the participants about the activities, mission, and vision of elite sports Pakistan and presented the university sports commercialization proposal to the officials which was equally liked and admired by the attendees.
M. Adeel Siddique raised certain queries regarding the functionality of the proposed project and said MoU which was responded to by the officials of the ESP to the satisfaction of the house. Muhammad Akbar furnishes a thorough overview of the university sports, their players, and their achievements which are lauded by the representatives of the ESP. Athar Abbas informed the house about the ongoing operations of Elite Sports Pakistan in Karachi. Whereas it has already signed three MoUs with Metropolitan University, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari, and Usman Institute of Technology University in Karachi.
The university sports administrators liked and cherished the scope and nature of the said agreement and ensure their best possible support in the realization of such professional sporting activities for the welfare and development of sports in the country.
The CEO of Elite Sports Pakistan unveiled the university team name and logo as “Karachi Dolphins”, and articulate his strong fondness and likeness for the said team name and logo which was appreciated by the participants of the meeting. The officials showed some keen interest in signing the accord with the ESP after taking into account the due course of action adhering to the university policies and formalities.
Elite Sports Pakistan is a registered organization with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan to commercialize University Sports in Pakistan. It has a hundred and four Universities on its membership panel including public and private-sector universities from across Pakistan.
