Habib Al Kiddie. Celebrating a Hockey Legend
We honor the legacy of Habib Al Kiddie, one of Pakistan’s most supreme hockey players. Known for his prowess in the left-half position, Habib was born in Delhi, India, on December 7, 1929.
A talented and confident player, Habib formed a formidable partnership with centre-half Anwar Ahmed Khan, creating a defensive stronghold that effectively neutralized opponents, including the deadly Indian striker Balbir Singh.
Habib played a crucial role in securing Pakistan’s victories at:

His outstanding performance in the 1958 Asian Games final was pivotal in preventing India from scoring, leading Pakistan to victory by topping the group.
