ESP Organizes the Balochistan Intervarsity eSports Provincial Championship in the University of Balochistan

The ESP presented the championship trophy and 1st cash prizes worth rupees Twenty thousand and to the eSports team of the Buitems which won first position in the said tournament. The 2nd, cash prize of rupees fifteen thousand bagged by the runner up team of UET- Khuzdar. Respectively, third and fourth Positions secured by Mir Chakar khan Rind University and Lasbela university of Agricultural Water and Marine Sciences and awarded cash prizes of ten and five thousand rupees each. Whereas, University of Balochistan ranks 5th and entitled for five thousand cash prize.
Dr. Shaifq ur Rehman VC of university of Balochistan was the chief guest of the ceremony. Whereas Elite Sports Pakistan Regional Sports Coordinator Mr. Akmal khilji, Miss. Zainab Director IMS, Mr. Masood kasi Sports Director Buitems, Assistant Sports university of Balochistan Mr. Ali Ahmed, Mr. Mumtaz official from University of Turbat, Mr.Sher Afzal Sports in-charge from Lasbela university of Agricultural Water And Marine Sciences uthal, from Balochistan Agricultural College Mr. Zaitullah were also present on the occasion.
The ESP presented the first position trophy and cash prizes to the players and officials of the Buitems University in a big round of applause. It was a historic moment to watch and witness the real joy of success on the faces of players , officials and students of University.
Mr. Shafiq Ur Rehman expressed his heartfelt sentiments on the occasion. He welcomed and thank the attendees of the competition. He informs the dignitaries about UOB affiliation and association with the ESP and future projects. He also throw light on other curricular and co-curricular activities being carried on in the university campus by different faculties.
Akmal khilji RSC-ESP shared the highlights and other facts and figures of the event. He informed the audience about the projects and performance of ESP in the Balochistan and participation of the varied universities in the eSports events being organized by ESP. It would be pertinent to mention that All Balochistan Universities teams participated enthusiastically in this mega competition of its own kind. In preliminary rounds the tournament run in many universities at regional level in far and wide of the province. In last round the winnner and run up of each university contested for the top positions.
He also bring into light the various features and characteristics of eSports with comparison to the developed nations.
M. Jamal Qureshi CEO-ESP congratulated the player’s and officials of the university. He informs the participants about the function and significance of the ESP’s projects being carried out in the higher education sector and future activities. The chief guest of the ceremony Mr. Shafiq Ur Rehman extended his heartiest congratulations to the winning teams and their sports officials. He appreciated the victorious students on their part to bring laurels for the alma meter. He also thanked the ESP top management and sports directorate of the UOB for being so responsive and agile to run such a successful tournament in a successful manner.
The ESP’s is a national level private limited organization which is working on the university sports commercialization projects in the country since 2016 in various conventional and non-conventional sports disciplines which are commercially viable and have the potential to become a television sports Insha Allah.
