Higher Education Commission, All Pakistan Chess Intervarsity Championship being held at Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) from 23rd May to 26 May 2022.
Elite Sports Pakistan Pvt Limited (ESP) Joint venturing with MUST to organize and host this event.
The manager’s meeting of the participating universities team was held at the university campus, today which was co-chaired by Mr. Abid Director Sports MUST, and Mr. Wazeeri Chief Operating Officer ESP. 
There are almost 18 university teams participating in the said event. The tournament draws, team scrutiny, and other rules and regulations are briefed and discussed in the meeting. The tournament will be played on a knockout system and the winner and runner-up teams will be awarded trophies and cash prizes.
The ESP will do live coverage of the tournament on its social media accounts I-e, Facebook, and YouTube. The winners of the said Championship will be selected for the ESP International South Asian events. It would be pertinent to mention here that the Female Verison of Chess Intervarsity Championship had already been held earlier and winners are selected for the ESP International events.
