ESP-Balochistan (Press Release): Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology Khuzdar, Balochistan, and Elite Sports Pakistan Pvt Limited (ESP) signed an agreement (MoU) here at the university campus.
Over the ceremony Prof. Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar Vice-Chancellor BUETK, Mr. SYED Jalal Shah, Registrar BUETK, Mr. Dr. Syed Ali Raza Shah, Dean Faculty of Engineering BUETK, Mr. Hamid Tariq DG Planning and work BUETK, Mr. Waqar Hazoor, Director Sports BUETK, and ESP Mr. Akmal Khan Business Development officer Elite Sports Pakistan Pvt Limited were present.
Mr. Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar and Mr. Akmal Khan Business Development Officer ESP signed the agreement in the presence of the aforementioned University officials.
Mr. Akmal Khan while giving a presentation informed the officials that this agreement and ESP will help out in Commercializing University Sports through filming, broadcasting, and creating university players and team fan following in print and electronic media and also in social media which will boost the moral of the said University students and they will start liking, following and supporting their players and teams.
This agreement will also serve the purpose of providing an alternative source to the university to create its revenue-generating stream by participating in the ESP’s organized events and selling merchandise in collaboration with the ESP.
The ESP will also establish Merchandising store at BUETK where university team merchandise will be available for sale to students and other visitors to support their university team.
The greater impact of the agreement will be on the participation and performance of the players. Those who will take part will have the opportunity to play in a league both at the national and international level which will boost their chances to play in the national games and secure them a position in the different sports federations and by signing modeling contracts with different advertising agencies.
Mr. Dr. Ehsan Ullah Khan Kakar Vice-Chancellor of BUETK expressed his contentment and congratulate the Sports faculty and ESP over the occasion. He vowed to implement this agreement in true spirit to uplift university sports.
Mr. Muzammil Khan Wazeeri Director Operations of the Elite Sports Pakistan Pvt Limited who was instrumental in the realization of this MoU also reiterated to work in close alliance with the university official to reap the fruits of the agreement. M. Jamal Qureshi C.E.O Elite Sports Pakistan Pvt Limited extended his gratitude and congratulations to Dr. Ihsanullah Kakar VC BUETK over signing an agreement. He mentioned that ESP is determined to revolutionize Pakistan University Sports through its unique Sports Commercialization model which is being successfully implemented in the USA and other European countries. The ESP activities will set new norms in the sports industry. He expressed the BUETK and ESP will go hand in hand to revive Sports in Balochistan and Pakistan
